Bird and bat box making

2 September at Chadkirk Chapel will be our annual bird and bat box making day. This is aimed at children, who will be led through creating a box to house birds or bats.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, and it’s suggested that you bring a hammer if you can. Materials will be provided. Chadkirk Chapel will be open to the public.

We also have colouring sheets and giant games to amuse those children not taking part, such as Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Giant Dominos and so on (no charge to use).

We’ll be selling hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks – cash only.

For those coming in cars, unless disabled, can we please ask that you park in the car park at the entrance to Vale Road and make your way to the chapel on foot. When you get to the corner of the lane, we suggest that the path to the left of Vale Road is not only safer, it gives you a better view of the Coronation Meadow.
