Chapel open to the public

  • Chadkirk Chapel and Country Estate Vale Road Stockport, England, SK6 United Kingdom (map)

The chapel will be open for people to visit. The kiosk inside the chapel will be selling refreshments such as hot and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits (cash only).

Why not pop down for a break, a chat and to explore this lovely, listed building, the walled garden and perhaps take a walk around the Chadkirk Trail?

We also have colouring sheets and giant games to amuse the children, such as Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Giant Dominos and so on (no charge to use). We’ll be selling hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks – cash only.

All funds raised are used for the benefit of Chadkirk, the chapel, the walled garden and the country estate.

For those coming in cars, unless disabled, can we please ask that you park in the car park at the entrance to Vale Road and make your way to the chapel on foot. When you get to the corner of the lane, we suggest that the path to the left of Vale Road is not only safer, it gives you a better view of the Coronation Meadow.

At 4:00pm we will be hosting a volunteer meet-and-greet. Those who are already volunteers are invited to join us – as is anyone who would like to volunteer to help out at the chapel, for example, serving drinks, helping out with events, organising events, gardening and more.
