Christmas carol service (4:00pm)

  • Chadkirk Chapel and Country Estate Vale Road Stockport, England, SK6 United Kingdom (map)

Traditional Christmas carol service in the chapel (with sherry and mince pies after the service).

Lessons will be read by members of the Friends of Chadkirk and there will be a collection in support of a nominated charity.

The service is free, but tickets are required so that we can manage numbers. We really do ask people not to get tickets ‘just in case’ because numbers in the chapel are limited and if you don’t go you could be stopping someone else from attending.

Tickets will be available online, closer to the event.

ON THE DAY, PLEASE HELP US TO MANAGE THE EVENT

For those of you who are arriving by car, the car park for the chapel is on the left, just as you turn into Vale Road from Otterspool Road.

Please be aware that Vale Road provides access to residents’ houses both on Vale Road near the car park and further up, past the chapel, at Burymewick. Vale Road is single track for some of its distance so please show patience and respect to those who need to access their houses or park outside them.

After parking, you will need to walk to the chapel on foot. From the car park, walk down Vale Road until it becomes a single track – and then take the footpath at the side of the field until you reach either the chapel or the well.
