Chadkirk céilí night and harvest supper

  • Chadkirk Chapel and Country Estate Vale Road Stockport, England, SK6 United Kingdom (map)

A very special evening’s entertainment from The Kitchen Céilí Band, a Manchester-based acoustic group specialising in music from the Celtic tradition.

The repertoire winds its way through centuries of Irish music – from the baroque-nuanced tunes of the 17th century harper Turlough O’Carolan, through the energising jigs, reels, polkas and hornpipes of traditional dance, to the inventive contemporary music of today’s young players and composers.

There will be a professional caller, who will help you to dance the evening away. Tickets will be £15, this will include food, and they will be made available closer to the event. Alcoholic drinks will be available.
