The chapel will be open to the public. It’s also the celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Friends of Chadkirk, so expect cake and prosecco! Entertainment will be provided by the amazing Helen Blytheway, a local and very talented singer and keyboard player. Drinks and snacks will be available. Entry is free.
About Helen Blytheway
Helen is the lead singer and pianist in The Retrosettes and The Horse Puppets. Over the years she has supported Simply Red on a European tour, and was featured in the film ‘Youth’ with Michael Caine and Paul Dano. For her solo debut at Chadkirk Chapel, expect to hear classic covers like Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay, Olivia Rodrigo and Radiohead.
On the day
The kiosk inside the chapel will be selling refreshments such as hot and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits (cash only). Why not pop down for a break, a chat and to explore this lovely, listed building, the walled garden and perhaps take a walk around the Chadkirk Trail? All funds raised are used for the benefit of Chadkirk, the chapel, the walled garden and the country estate.
If you’re new to the chapel, and driving to reach us, the car park is on Vale Road, just on the left as you turn off the main road. The chapel can then be reached on foot via the road and path.
